Winamp Officially Discontinued
Winamp music player journey has ended. Official site at Winamp.com, written announcements if Winamp.com and related products (including Winamp Media Player) will be terminated as of December 20, 2013.
Winamp is the most popular music player applications in the era of the 90 's. made by Nullsoft, which soon replaced Justin Frankel and Dmitry Boldyrev, Winamp-like application that is required to posses a PC user with the melejitnya MP3 format. But that success is waning after AOL bought Nullsoft, a U.S. media company. In an interview with Ars Technica last year, Rob Lord who was the first Manager of Nullsoft, Winamp may actually be seeking to be like iTunes now. But Rob was out management mistakes made AOL make Winamp loses pamornya.
Actually, Winamp still trying to be relevant with the release of a series of updates, including release of the MacOS and Android. However, the fall of Winamp is not inevitable. So if you still want to use Winamp as an ingredient of nostalgia, you must download Winamp before December 20 tomorrow.
